Who We Are

Dallas City Insiders is a curated platform for discovering meaningful events that bring people together and strengthen the Dallas community. We highlight experiences that foster connections— from pop-ups and workshops to festivals, socials, and many more unique events, making it easier to engage with the city and each other.

Dallas City Insiders prioritize listing unique, meaningful events that bring people together and strengthen the Dallas community. Events we feel represent that priority are added to the calendar free of charge. We want to help extend your reach so that everyone can share a fun experience, without you or our subscribers having to jump through hoops to do it. ❤️

Event Features

Personal, common, business/professional, or re-occuring events are considered an additional level of promotion/advertising and will require a fee for calendar placement.

This can include, but isn’t limited to:

performances (concerts, comedy shows, solo acts, poetry slams, dj sets, etc)
flyers w/ specific people on them (considered personal promotion)
party-based nightlife events (more details below)
"exclusive" or member-only events (we are an inclusive platform)
conferences/conventions/galas (professional business events)
common events:
- karaoke
- markets
- paint & sips
- professional sports
- candle making classes
- weekly/biweekly events
- event series that are over a month
- workout classes (examples: pilates/sculpting/yoga/run clubs)
- & other similar events

Ineligible Events

Our focus is on safe, inclusive, and community-centered activities that help you meet new people, experience new things, and truly enjoy Dallas. Our subscribers' safety is of the utmost importance. With this in mind, we do not promote certain types of events that do not align with our goal.

This can include, but isn’t limited to:

Virtual events
Political events: rallies, protests, campaign events, debates, etc
Sexually-enticing events: pool parties, speed dating, etc
Non-Christian religious events: This is a Christian faith-based business & while we respect other religions, we will not endorse them.
& other similar events

Party-Based Nightlife Policy

Promotion for party-based night events require a payment, and are based on a combination of factors. Your event would count as a party-based night even if it applies to 2 or more of the following:

Time: Events that start after 7pm are considered nightlife.

Please note this does not include dinner parties, game nights, or other activity-based events that happen at night. Just no party-based events.

Location: Club, Bar, Hookah Spot

Main Attraction: Alcohol (bottle service available as well), Music, & a DJ set (These can be included, attractions but the main focus must be a true activity or unique experience—not just partying.)
